As Gabriella Hámori graduated from the Hungarian Academy of Drama and Film, she also made her cinema debut. For her leading role in Ágnes Incze’s I LOVE BUDAPEST, she was named Most Promising Young Actress at the Hungarian Film Week in Budapest. Simultaneously, she began her theatre career and was recognised by the Association of Hungarian Theatre Critics for her performance of Julika in Molnar’s "Liliom". Currently, she is a leading actress at the Örkény István Theater in one of the most important ensembles in Budapest. She was named Best Young Actress at the 2005 Hungarian Theatres’ Meeting for her role as Nina in Chekov’s "Seagull". She was given a chance to show her talent on the screen in HUNGARIAN BEAUTY, EASTERN SUGAR, and WHO THE HELL’S BONNIE AND CLYDE?, starred in the romantic comedy STOP MOM THERESA!, for which she won the Best Actress Prize 2005 at the Festival of European Film Smiles in Mlada Boleslav, Czech Republic.
